An ongoing progress of the project monitoring had been maintained throughout the reporting period - Adherence to the timetable and financial resources to ensure compliance.
During the entire reporting period with the children in Tiskadi, Naujenes and Ludza district orphanage, as well as a shelter, and social services center in Rezekne worked teachers. in every one of these institutions there are children representing a variety of nationalities. During the activities, teachers discussed the traditions of different nationalities – what is common for Latvians, Russians, Belorussians, or any other nationalities.
During this reporting period, using non-formal education methods Latvian language and ‘latvian history and geography lessons were provided for out of family care institutions living minority students, resulting in a deeper understanding of our country's fundamental values and the need for a cohesive society.
During this reporting period, there were such films finished:
"Independent women's social center" from Russian Federation working visit to Latvia, during which all the participating non-family care institutions were visited – met all participating teachers and children.
Together with the partner organizations' Independent Women's Social center "work group" and the active members from Projekts Videoatmiņa and Latgale minority non-governmental organizations we participated in the workshop on the need for building a cohesive society.
