Tutors were working with children for the whole year in Tiskadi, Naujene and Ludza district children's home - shelter, as well as in Rezekne social service centre. In e
In each of these non-family care institutions there are children representing different nationalities. During the classes, children together with their tutors were discussing the national holiday traditions – what is traditional for Latvians, Russians, Belarusians, or even any other nationality, as well as with non-formal education methods children were learning Latvian history and geography, resulting in a deeper understanding of our country's fundamental values and cohesive societys needs.
During this reporting period we have created and finished the "Calendar 2016" with Latvian and the participating national minorities National Holiday dates.
During this reporting period we have finnished short movie about intercultural event in Naujene orphanage, and it has been published in youtube, vimeo as well as published in websites - www.saulesberni.org and www.videoatmina.lv.
Latvian society was introduced with this movie with broadcasteing in TV.
